The pioneer and founder of Alarrayed Dermatology and Laser Centre, graduated in medicine in 1969 from the Alexandria University in Egypt and followed that with a year and a half in London, UK where he specialised. He later completed a post-graduate residency at the American University of Beirut. He is recognised as an authority in dermatology in the Kingdom and was the force behind the introduction of several new skin treatments to Bahrain.

Dr. Khalil's commitment to the cause and care of dermatological conditions in the Kingdom are legendary and have led him to establish a department of dermatology in what was then the Salmaniya Hospital and later to initiate and set up a Chair for Dermatology in order to teach and train residents and family physicians in conditions and concerns with regard to the skin.

Dr. Wesam is widely considered one of the most sought-after dermatologists in the Kingdom of Bahrain. His impeccable qualifications include a medical degree from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Canadian Board certification in Dermatology, and a Fellowship in Cosmetic and Surgical Dermatology from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York. All this is on the heels of an outstanding academic record in his youth and childhood. His modern approach to skills development and continuing education is reflected in the thoroughness of his treatment methodologies and consultation.

Dr Wesam Al Arayedh, is renowned for his contributions to the field of dermatology and his studies and work in the discipline have appeared in some noted publications including, among others, the International Wound Journal.

After a stellar academic career in medicine, and having completed her MD from the Arabian Gulf University, Dr. Mersal followed the family calling and specialised in dermatology. Her specialisations include a diploma from the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine, specialization in Skin Jet Diploma for face and body derma-repair from Skin Jet GmbH, a Diploma in Vita Control – skin revitalizing therapy from Elka Systems, Certificate in Aesthetical Stem Cells from the Dubai American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine as well as a Certification from GLO PRP GLOFINN.

Dr. Mersal keeps up with developments in the field by regularly attending numerous international and regional conferences and workshops and brings her perspective and insights to serve all her patients.
